Maintenance
All components are manufactured
using aluminium, plastic or stainless steel. They
do not present
any corrosion problems in normal environments.
The system has been designed for a smooth operation
together with a rigidity to prolong the window
blinds working life.
Fabrics
There is a diverse collection of vertical blind
fabrics available in either 89 mm or 127 mm louvres.
A number of the range are flame retardant to international
standards or feature the unique solar protective
coating.
MRSA is currently a major concern
to every healthcare organisation in the country.
Ultra Fresh* is an
anti microbial coating that has been licensed for
use on window blinds, exclusively to the Louvolite
range in the UK. Ultra Fresh is unique in that
it kills MRSA and bacteria outright when it comes
into contact with the blind guaranteeing a sterile,
germ free surface.

Silent Gliss
Silent Gliss have introduced the new vertical
blind system 2810, which replaces the 2800 system.
The system 2810 is an improved design and continues
to be a mono operated system with an overdrive
control, which prevents damage if the system is
over pulled. The 2810 cannot be bent (or arched)
and is only available chain operated.
The Silent Gliss 2900 system can be bent to a
tight radius thanks to a unique belt operation.
One robust operating handle is used to both open
and close and tilt the vanes.
The Silent Gliss 2950 is electrically operated
and is purpose designed for curving or sloping
installations. It is available with two motor options
depending on the application.
